Before UMass:Competed for Hoosac Valley High School under coaches Ron Namislo and Greg Lucia ... Set school records in the 400m (60.0), 800m (2:19.51), 1600m (5:23.78) as a senior in 2014 ... Previously set the 800m record as a junior in 2013 and the 400m record as a sophomore in 2012 ... Also competed in soccer and basketball ... Helped basketball squad to two Western Mass. championships and a state finals appearance while earning All-Western Mass. first team honors.
