Antoinette Otrando

Antoinette Otrando begins her fifth season as an assistant coach for the University of Massachusetts men[apos]s and women[apos]s track and field programs. She will again be responsible for the hurdles, multi-events, and jumps.
Prior to joining the UMass staff, Otrando served as an assistant coach at the University of Cincinnati from 1999-2001. She also coached at the University of Buffalo from 1997-1999, where she coached the school[apos]s first All-American in 1998. She has also served as an assistant at Smith College, Rutgers University and the U.S. Naval Academy.
A 1987 graduate of Penn State University, she was one of the top conference finishers in the heptathlon and pentathlon. Otrando was also an NCAA qualifier in the high jump as a senior. She received her Master[apos]s in Movement Science (Biomechanics / Exercise Physiology) from Springfield (Mass.) College.
