At the Atlantic 10 Invitational competed as three seat of the Varsity 4 coming in first (8:22.846) in the morning races (4/8)... Rowed in the Third Varsity 8 against Dartmouth posting a second place (7:59.08) finish (4/22)... At Eastern Sprints, competed in the Third Varsity 8 coming in fourth place (7:15.420) in the heats, and sixth place (7:37.330) in the petite finals (4/30)... Spring 2021: Rowed three seat and clocked a second-place time of 8:05.2 in the Second Varsity 4 ‘A’ Final at Overpeck Park (4/11) … Finished first in the 2V4 at the Charles River Basin (4/18, 8:34.397) … Part of the Third Varsity 8 crew that finished second (8:34.056) at the Charles River Basin (5/1) in seat number two … Finished second in the Varsity 4 with a time of 8:15.987 at the Atlantic 10 Championships (5/15), earning a silver medal in seat three.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019-20
Fall 2019: Two seat in the 10th place Open 8+ (17:01.03) at the Head of the Riverfront Regatta (10/6) ... Raced in the Open 8+ that took 15th (21:29.22) as well ... At the Head of the Housatonic (10/12), rowed two seat in the Collegiate 8+ D boat (17:27).
Diggins on UMass: "I chose University of Massachusetts because of the amazing opportunities available. Rowing at a collegiate level has always been a goal for me so to be able to study my major and row at the same time is perfect."
