As A Senior (2015-16): Match-by-Match Statistics
Spring: The Spring season opened with Benito playing against Cornell in singles and doubles. She lost a hard match in three sets in singles but went on to win in doubles with a score of 6-4 with teammate Ana Yrazusta (1/23) ... The senior was defeated in tough singles and doubles matches against Brown (1/29) ... The first match in February against Boston College was also hard, with Benito losing in three sets in singles (2/2) ... During the weekend opener against Long Island, Benito won her singles match in straight sets and also won her doubles match with Yrazusta (2/6) ... The following day against St. John's, the senior won her singles match with a score of 6-4, 6-1 (2/7) ... During her matches against Army West Point the following week, Benito won in a hard, three-set match in singles and went on to win her doubles match as well (2/13) ... On the same day against St. Bonaventure, the senior won in doubles with Yrazusta with a score of 6-0 ... She played in both singles and doubles against Yale, but was defeated with the doubles match going into two sets (2/19) ... In the same weekend against the number 41 seed Dartmouth, Benito lost a really tough match in singles (2/21) ... The first match of March was against Albany where Benito won her singles and doubles matches in straight sets (3/5) ... The weekend opener began with Benito playing against the College of Charleston and being bested in both singles and doubles (3/15) ... At the following match against Towson, Benito won her singles match in three sets and went on to win in the #1 doubles spot as well with Yrazusta (3/17) ... Against Charleston Southern the next day, the senior won her doubles match with a score of 6-1 (3/18) ... In one of the first matches of April against Bryant, Benito won in the #4 singles spot as well as the #1 singles spot playing with Ruth Crawford (4/9). Fall: Benito began her fall season at the Brown Invitationals where she lost two singles matches but came back by winning one against Rutgers University in straight sets ... The doubles matches at Brown Invitationals gave her a good head start with a record of 3-1 while playing with teammate Ana Yrazusta (9/25) ... The senior lost a hard match with three sets and a tie-break at the end against UConn (10/1) ... Won another doubles match against UConn giving her a win streak of 4-1 (10/1) ... Against Providence, Benito won a doubles match with Yrazusta with a score of 6-2 (10/15) ... Won against Connecticut during ITA Tournament with a score of 7-6, 6-4 and made it to the Second Round (10/22) ... Partnered with Ana Yrazusta at ITA Regionals getting to as far as the Round of 16 (10/23) ... Won in both singles and doubles against Denver and singles against Minnesota at Big Green Invitationals (11/6).

Spring: Earned Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction as well as the ITA Scholar-Athlete honor for a GPA of 3.50 or higher following the spring semester ... Alongside Ana Yrazusta, Benito received the highest regional ranking of any pair in program history, placing 4th in the final ITA Northeast Regional Rankings ... Named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team for her strong efforts in both singles and doubles play ... Closed out the 2015 spring season 14-2-1 in singles play to lift her career singles record to 22-8 ... The UMass newcomer also finished 15-2 in doubles for a 24-5 regular season doubles record ... Won her last 11 consecutive singles matches beginning March 1 against Fordham ... The New Delhi native also secured 14 of her last 15 doubles matches in the spring season ... Took home back-to-back singles and doubles wins in her final regular season matches against Bryant and Sacred Heart (4/11, 4/12) ... Swept conference foe Rhode Island in No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and also collected an 8-2 doubles victory (4/8) ... Returned home to face Albany on the Mullins Center Courts and walked away with a straight-set singles win, 6-0, 6-2 (3/28) ... Benito bested the likes of Army, Marist, #22 Dartmouth, Fordham, Providence and Saint Louis in the streak ... Took home an impressive 6-4 doubles win in the No. 1 spot against #60 Boston College (2/6) ... Competed in her first spring match with the maroon and white at Brown where the junior transfer battled in No. 5 singles and took home a No. 1 doubles win alongside Yrazusta (1/30). Fall: Finished the fall season at the Big Green Invite where Benito and Anna Yrazusta were named champions of the doubles tournament (11/4) ... Added two singles wins against Connecticut and Albany at the ITA Northeast Regional Tournament (10/20) ... Contributed singles and doubles wins against Connecticut at the No. 5 and No. 2 spots, respectively (10/9) ... Tallied three doubles wins at the Army Invitational. The New Delhi native also recorded three singles wins at the tournament including a 0-6, 6-2, 1-2 come-from-behind victory against Lehigh (9/29) ... Opened the fall season at the Brown Invitational where Benito clinched two singles victories including a 6-0, 6-0 sweep over Providence. Benito also tabbed two doubles wins paired alongside Ana Yrazusta (9/21).

As A Sophomore At Tulsa (2013-14): Named to the ITA 2014 All-Academic Team ... One of four Tulsa women's tennis players to earn the Conference USA Academic Medal ... Also named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Posted an 11-4 record in singles play including a 9-2 mark in tournament action ... Won 7 of her last 10 matches ... Was 2-3 on the year at No. 2 doubles ... In two years at Tulsa, posted a 25-14 overall mark in singles play and a 8-5 record in doubles action.

As A Freshman At Tulsa (2012-13): Compiled a 14-10 singles record and a 6-6 doubles mark in her first year . . . enjoyed a four-match winning streak during the fall season . . . advanced to the second round of the main draw at the USTA/ITA Central Region Championship in singles . . . teamed up with Belen Rivera to advance to the round of 16 in doubles at the Central Region Championship . . . tallied a 2-0 record at No. 4 singles for Tulsa and a 7-7 ledger during the spring season.

Before College: Won two ITF Junior Tournaments . . . was ranked No. 1 in Spain in the ITF Rankings in 2010 and 2011.
