BEFORE UMASS: Pete did a post-graduate year at the Salisbury School where he played under Coach Bobby Wynne and was selected as All-Division First-Team...in high school he was a three-year varsity attackman and midfielder in Norwalk, CT., where he played under coach Michael Epstein... As a sophomore he earned Honorable Mention All-FCIAC...in his sophomore and junior years he earned All-Area honors...as a junior he was named Team Offensive MVP... junior and senior year he was selected for the First-Team All-State and First-Team All-FCIAC...two-time All-America honors as a midfielder in his junior year and as an attackman during his senior year ... as a senior in 2006 he was captain of his team, honored as All-Area MVP, named Team MVP, and selected to represent the East Team at the US Lacrosse National Senior Showcase...accumulated over 300 points during his high school career.
