Massachusetts Men's Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse has announced its 2026 schedule, which will feature seven home games, seven road games and one neutral site contest. The Gorillas are set to begin their first campaign under head coach Kyle Smith on Saturday, Jan. 31, against Army in West Point, N.Y. at noon.
UMass will its home opener on Saturday, February 7, at 3 p.m. against Merrimack. The Gorillas will then begin a stretch of three straight road matchups, heading to Quinnipiac on Friday, February 13 (2 p.m.), NJIT on Saturday, February 21 (12 p.m.) and to Brown on Tuesday, February 24.
The non-conference slate wraps up with three straight on Garber Field. UAlbany visits Amherst on Saturday, February 28 at 12 p.m. Massachusetts will host UMass Lowell for a midweek meeting on Tuesday, March 3 at 3 p.m. and will play another America East foe in Vermont on Saturday, March 7 at 12 p.m.
Atlantic play opens for the Gorillas at High Point on Saturday, March 14. UMass will then take on Richmond at Garber Field on Saturday, March 21 before traveling to St. Bonaventure on Saturday, March 28. All three contests are 12 p.m. starts.
Massachusetts will play its final two home games on Saturday, April 4, and Saturday April 11, playing host to St. Joseph's (3 p.m.) and Delaware (2 p.m.), respectively.
The A-10 slate wraps up for the Gorillas on Saturday, April 18, in Geneva, New York where the team will take on Hobart at noon.
UMass then closes out the regular season with a non-conference neutral site matchup in Farmingdale, New York as the Maroon & White will face Penn for just the second time in program history and first since 1987. The game against the Quakers is slated for Friday, April 24, at 5 p.m.
