Donald Dangerfield joined the University of Massachusetts athletic department and the sports medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer in June, 2017. He will primarily work alongside associate head athletic trainer Jennifer Brodeur with the football program.

Dangerfield arrived at the University of Massachusetts from Pittsburgh State University in Pittsburgh, Kansas, where he served as an athletic trainer for the football program. Simultaneously, he earned his Master's of Science in Health, Human Performance and Recreation with an emphasis in Health and Wellness from Pittsburgh State in 2017.

A native of Overland Park, Kansas, Dangerfield completed his undergraduate studies at Lindenwood University, in St. Charles, Missouri, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2015. Additionally, Dangerfield previously worked with the Kansas City Chiefs athletic training staff as an intern during the summer, 2016.
