Brandon Bowie joined the Massachusetts football program in early 2026 as the Director of High School Recruiting. Bowie arrived in Amherst after serving as the football recruiting and player personnel senior analyst for three seasons at Pittsburgh.
At Pittsburgh, Bowie evaluated players at all levels, including high school, junior college, the FCS and FBS divisions, while assisting with and organizing unofficial and official visits. He also aided in the assessment of athletes at spring and summer high school camps and Pro Days. Bowie helped lead facility and campus tours, monitor the transfer portal, set schedules for coaches for recruiting and helped organize summer camps.
Prior to Pittsburgh, Bowie was the football player personnel and recruiting assistant at Western Michigan for two years. There, he managed tracking lists of high school prospects, facilitated mailings for high school prospects and assisted with player evaluations under the guidance of the Director of Recruiting and position coaches.
Bowie was a football video and recruiting intern for the University of Southern Mississippi football program from August 2020 to May 2022. With Southern Mississippi, Bowie filmed practices and games, worked with the Catapult software for processing film, helped with camps and learned to evaluate prospects.
A 2022 graduate of Southern Mississippi, Bowie earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management.
