AMHERST, Mass. - Thirty-six University of Massachusetts student-athletes were named to the Athletic Council Honor Roll for the 2002 Spring semester, 24 of whom earned a perfect 4.0 gpa for the semester. The student-athletes will be honored at the weekly UMass Sports Luncheon, Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 11:45 a.m. in the Campus Center Hotel, with new UMass Chancellor John V. Lombari as the event's featured speaker.
