AMHERST, Mass. -- Tickets for all University of Massachusetts home football games during the 2001 season are now on sale. Season tickets, which are good for all six home games at McGuirk Alumni Stadium, are priced at $65.00 for the 2001 season. UMass faculty and staff can purchase season tickets for the reduced rate of $58.50, while tickets for children 18 and under are only $30.00.
Single game tickets are also available. Tickets for the Sept. 15 contest with Richmond, which will be only the second home night game in UMass history, are $15.00. Tickets for all of the other five home games are $12.00 each.
The Minutemen open the home slate against William & Mary with a 1:00 p.m. game on Sept. 1, with the next home contest being the Richmond game on Sept. 15 at 7:00 p.m. UMass will play back-to-back home games in the month of October, with New Hampshire visiting Amherst for Homecoming on Oct. 13 (1:00 p.m.) and James Madison coming to town for Band Day on Oct. 20 (1:00 p.m.). The home schedule also includes a visit from Northeastern on Nov. 3 for Family Day (12:00 p.m.) and the regular season finale against Rhode Island on Nov. 17 (12:00 p.m.).
