UMass Baseball And Softball Games To Be Carried On WHMP

AMHERST, Mass. - All of UMass' games from the 2000 Atlantic 10 Conference baseball tournament and the 2000 NCAA softball regional will be carried live on WHMP 1400 AM in Northampton. The action will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, when the softball team takes on South Carolina. Following the conclussion of that game, the baseball team will face Virginia Tech at 7:30 p.m.
Both teams will be in action again on Friday, with the game times to be determined based on the outcome of Thursday's contests. The Atlantic 10 baseball tournament will run through Saturday, May 20, with the NCAA softball regional concluding on Sunday, May 21.
