Jamie Cushman of the Daily Collegian softball writing trio was at practice on Wednesday and spent some time with head coach Kristi Stefanoni as she put her team through a light workout leading up to Thursday's home doubleheader with Marist. They talked about the momentum that could come from Tuesday's impressive sweep at Rhode Island, and whet the second-year UMass coach expects out of the non-conference matchup with Marist.
