Matt Vautour of the Daily Hampshire Gazette has a story on the benefits of UMass football's extended bye week as the Minutemen began preparations for Ball State on Wednesday night. Blake Frohnapfel and Jovan Santos-Knox both said the time away has been beneficial, but they are looking forward to playing again next week.
