Dan Malone of MassLive.com has a story focusing on the experiences of Stanley Andre and Daniel Maynes at Monday's UMass Football NFL Pro Day. Both players say that just having an opportunity to play at the next level is what they've worked for their entire careers.

Matt Vautour of the Daily Hampshire Gazette has a story focusing on the NFL Pro Day performances and experiences of UMass football standouts Jean Sifrin, Daniel Maynes and Stanley Andre.
Mark Chiarelli of the Daily Collegian has a recap of the UMass Football Pro Day that was held at McGuirk Stadium yesterday. Nearly two dozen players were on hand to perform in front of over 20 NFL scouts. Jean Sifrin was the top player on hand as he improved on the marks he set at the recent NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
Mark Chiarelli of the Daily Collegian has a story focusing on the improved play of both the offensive and defensive lines for the UMass football team. The Eastern Michigan game was the best of the year for the defensive line which was able to contain dual threat quarterback Reggie Bell for much of the day. The offensive line has been playing well lately with the UMass running game able to contribute more to the offensive game production.

Matt Vautour of the Daily Hampshire Gazette has a piece on seniors Dan Maynes and Stanley Andre and what the current win means to them. With the Minutemen playing the best football of their careers, the duo each are enjoying the way the program is progressing under head coach Mark Whipple.

Matt Vautour of the Daily Hampshire Gazette has a story focusing on some tweaks the UMass football team made this week during practice to change up its routine heading into the Kent State game. Blake Frohnapfel and Daniel Maynes are quoted on some of their pre-game rituals.

John Connolly of the Boston Herald had a feature story on UMass football nose tackle Daniel Maynes on Sunday that discussed his battle against Crohn's disease. Maynes was forced to miss the 2011 season due to the condition, but has worked to keep the disease at bay while competing for the Minutemen.

Matt Vautour of the Daily Hampshire Gazette looks at the defensive line which is one of the youngest units on the defensive side of the ball. The group is anchored by senior nose tackle Daniel Maynes and received a boost when Sha-ki Holines transferred to UMass last fall after initially enrolling at UConn.

Dan Malone of the Springfield Republican continues his top 25 players to watch countdown as the 2014 UMass football season continues to get closer. On Monday, he had defensive tackle Daniel Maynes as the No. 20 player to keep an eye on this year. Malone says Maynes' experience on the line will make him an anchor as a nose tackle in the new 3-4 scheme.
