Women's Hoops Alum Tamara Tatham Leads Team Canada At Zafer Cup Opener

The Canadian Senior Women's National Basketball Team defeated Australia in the Zafer Cup exhibition tournament opener, 62-55 on Friday afternoon behind the strength of 14 points and seven rebounds from UMass women's basketball alumna Tamara Tatham.

The tournament is being hosted in Istanbul, Turkey, where Canada faces Turkey on Saturday before concluding tournament play on Sunday against Brazil.
