ABC40: UMass Football Players Armed with New Tool to Help Prevent Concussions
ABC40 has a story on how UMass is utilizing the new Guardian Cap to help prevent concussions during football practice. The cap is a soft shell with padding and air pockets which fits over the top of helmets and absorbs and deflects the force of a blow better to prevent injury due to repeated impact.
