Forbes Headed To Toronto Raptors This Fall

According to a story in the Springfield Republican former UMass star and 2008 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year Gary Forbes will be in fall training camp with the Toronto Raptors.

But prior to his NBA duties with the Raptors, he is going to play for the Springfield Slamm in the Greater Hartford Pro-Am in a playoff game on Friday night. Forbes is seeking a chance to play in the NBA after seeing action in the NBA summer league with the Houston Rockets and Los Angles Clippers.
