At the Connecticut Invitational (10/15), finished 23rd overall in the 100-Yard Backstroke (1:12.73), finished 38th overall in the 100-Yard Freestyle (1:04.43)and finished 11th overall in the 500-Yard Freestyle (6:10.74)... Before UMass: Swam for Gardner High School and Greenwood Memorial Swim Club for nine years ... coached by Don Lemieux in both programs ... swam for UMass-Dartmouth and was the LEC record holder 1,000 yard freestyle ... coached by Cathy Motta. Personal:Born October 24, 1983 ... daughter of John and Annette Szivos ... has one brother, Kiel ... a sociology major with a concentration in social work.
