Megan Donovan, a standout performer on the UMass rowing team for three years, joined the program as a graduate assistant coach for the 2013-14 season. Donovan was the 2010 Atlantic 10 Rower of the Year and competed as a graduate student in 2010-11 following the completion of her undergraduate tenure in the spring of 2010. Also a 2010 Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team selection, Donovan raced as part of the Varsity 8+, Lightweight 8+ and Varsity 4+ boats during her collegiate career.
A native of Orange, Mass., Donovan was named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll on three occasions, was one of 12 chosen for the 2009 Atlantic 10 Rowing All-Academic Team and took home the 2010 UMass Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award in recognition of her academic success.
