Spring 2014: Named team co-captain ... Finished first as a member of the First Varsity 4+ boat in 8:26.90 at the Yankee Cup (3/29) ... Rowed in the Varsity 8+ boat against Colgate (4/6) and secured first in 7:29.00 ... Took first in a five team meet on the Connecticut River (4/6) in the Varsity 8+ boat in a time of 6:02.24 ... At the Knecht Cup (4/12-4/13), rowed in the 2V8 boat and notched first in the Third Final (13th overall) in 7:06.10 ... In the Second Varsity 8+ race, won first with a time of 7:30.53 against UConn (4/18) ... Recorded a first place finish in the V8 against MIT, Bates and Radcliffe (4/19) in a time of 7:27.8 ... Helped the Minutewomen win the Atlantic 10 Championship (5/4) by earning second in the Second Varsity 8+ Final in a time of 7:47.93 ... Was a member of the Second Varsity 8+ boat that competed at the 2014 NCAA Championships hosted in Indianapolis, Ind.

Fall 2013: Part of one of three UMass entries in the Collegiate 4+ at the Head of the Housatonic (10/12), which finished fifth with a time of 17:54 ... Recorded the best finish out of all UMass entries at the Head of the Charles (10/19-10/20) after earning the silver in the Lightweight 4+ in 19:59.851 ... At the Head of the Fish (10/26), helped the Collegiate 8+ boat to a first place finish in a time of 13:08.37 and won silver in the Lightweight 8+ with a time of 13:47.52 ... Earned fourth place in 8:24.76 in the Collegiate 2-C Final at the Collegiate Small Boat Challenge (11/3).

2012-13 - Junior:
Spring 2013: Was part of the JV 8+ that earned a third-place finish at the Yankee Cup (3/30) with a time of 7:50.73 ... Helped UMass to a head-to-head victory at Holy Cross (4/6) as a member of the Junior Varsity 8+ boat, which took first in 7:12 ... Part of the JV 8+ boat that finished in first place (6:23.31) against UConn on April 17.

Fall 2012: Took sixth in the collegiate 4+ with a time of 18:19.99 at the Head of the Housatonic (10/6) ... Finished in sixth in the open 2X with a time of 17:56.3 and in fifth in the open 1X with a time of 21:12.2 at the Seven Sisters Sculling Regatta (10/13) ... Raced in the lightweight 4+ at the Head of the Charles (10/21) and finished in seventh with a time of 20:10.28 ... Finished in first in the lightweight 4+ and the lightweight 8+ and took sixth in the lightweight 1X at the Head of the Fish (10/27).

2011-12 - Sophomore:
Spring 2012: Rowed in the Lightweight Eight at the Murphy Cup (3/24) and placed third with a time of 8:53.05 ... Raced in the second Varsity Four at the Yankee Cup (3/31) and placed second with a time of 8:38.18 ... Rowed in both the Lightweight Eight and the second Varsity Four against UConn and Holy Cross (4/6-4/7) ... Finished in first against UConn in both events with times of 7:57.3 (Second Varsity 4+) and 7:25.5 (Lightweight 8+) ... Raced in the Lightweight Four and the Lightweight Eight at the Knecht Cup (4/15) and finished in sixth in the Ltwt4+ with a time of 8:26.39 ... Finished in second at MIT (4/21) in the Lightweight Eight with a time of 7:53.3 ... Took seventh at Eastern Sprints (5/13) in the Ltwt8+ with a time of 7:47.150.

Fall 2011: Did not compete.

2010-11 - Freshman:
Spring 2011: Raced in the Novice 8+ at the Yankee Cup (3/26) and finished second with a time of 9:17.78.

Before UMass: A 2010 graduate of Nashoba Regional High School, where she played lacrosse for three seasons under coach Laurie Griffin ... Helped the Chieftains to back-to-back undefeated seasons during her sophomore and junior years ... Was named team captain as a senior, when she totaled 40 goals and 25 assists.

Personal: Nicole Juul-Hindsgaul ... Born March 21, 1992 to Jorgen Madsen and Susan Juul ... Has one sibling, Simon.
