General: Named Captain for the 2005-06 season.
2006-07 Update: Placed thirteenth in the 50-yard freestyle (22.38), tenth in the 100-yard butterfly (53.83), thirty-third in the 100-yard freestyle (51.43), and eighteenth in th 200-yard butterfly (2:10.79) in the Nutmeg Invitational (12/3). Placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (48.60) and third in the 400-yard freestyle relay against Boston University (11/11) ... Against Army (10/28) posted a fourth place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 53.86 and the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:19.19 ... At Stony Brook, placed fifth in the 100 butterfly (55.06) ... At the UConn Invitational, finished with a time of 23.30 in the 50-yard free (14th), 52.43 in the 100-yard free (17th), and 56.12 in the 100-yard butterfly (13th). 2005-06 Update: Helped teammates Zack Priest, Ross Clay, and Tristan Partridge to a second place (1:40.05) finish in the 200-yard medley relay at Southern Connecticut State (11/6) ... Posted top finish of the season in the 50-yard freestyle with a third (22.69) against Boston Universtiy (11/12) and posted fastest time (22.59) at Southern Connecticut State (11/6)... With a time of 3:37.46, came in 3rd in the 400-yard Medley Relay with teammates Zach Priest, John Weaver, and Mike Cordes. Also finished 7th (22.91) in the 50-yard freestyle and improved to 6th in the 100-yard freestyle (50.28) against Army(11/18)...Had a 4th place finish (1:25.84) with his teammates in the 200 Freestyle Relay and finished 18th (22.19) in the 50 Yard Freestyle at the Brown Invitational (12/2). Also placed 6th (3:36.77) with his teammmates in the 400 Yard Medley Relay.
2004-05: One of the top short-distance freestylers and individual medley swimmers on the team ... ranked third for UMass in the 50 freestyle and in the 100 butterfly ... posted six top-5 finishes on the season ... at the Atlantic 10 Championships (2/17-19) took sixth-place in the 50 freestyle (21.38 seconds) and 15th in the 200 butterfly (1:58.71) - both season-best times ... his season-best effort in the 100 butterfly (51.50 seconds) was also at the A-10 Championships (2/18).
2003-04: Ranked fourth on the team in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly events ... posted his top times of the season in both events (51.44 in the 100 fly; 1:57.82 in the 200 fly) at the Atlantic 10 Championships (2/21).
Before UMass: Four-time letterwinner at James Buchanon High School ... holds school records in the 100-yard fly, 200-yard free relay and 200-yard medley relay, and is second on his high school's all-time list in the 50-yard free ... named to PIAA All-State team six times, and both the All Mid Penn Conference Team and All PIAA District 3 Team 13 times each ... also a member of the tennis team as a freshman and sophomore.
