Catherwood Wins At Dartmouth For Second Consecutive Season, Minutemen Finish Fifth

HANOVER, N.H. – Senior Collin Catherwood led the field at the Maribel Sanchez Souther Memorial Invitational on Saturday, helping the Massachusetts men's cross country program to a fifth-place finish in a field on 10 teams. The Minutemen posted a score of 119, as their top five all finished within the top 35 of 127 overall. Boston College won the meet (33 points), followed by Brown (87 points), Northeastern (99 points) and Dartmouth (103 points).

Catherwood secures first place at the event for the second consecutive season, also winning in the 2025 campaign with a time of 24:34.90, taking first out of 57 runners.

Highlights From Competition:

Catherwood won the 8k with a time of 24:19.8 in a field of 127. Catherwood place first 29 seconds ahead of second place.
Liam Davidson finished 24th with a time of 25:24.4.
Riley Hubisz earned third on the team and 29th overall crossing the line in 25:29.5.
Erik Engers finish of 25:36.9 secured 34th place.
Cyrus Hansen Rounded out the scoring for the Minutemen, finishing in 25:39.2.
