Tennis Ranked Among Top-10 In Final ITA New England Regional Team Rankings For Third Consecutive Year

The Minutewomen received team ranking of No. 6, tying the program’s highest ranking to date.
AMHERST, Mass. – For the third straight season, the University of Massachusetts tennis team ranked among the top-10 in the ITA New England Regional Team Ranking, sitting No. 6 in the region. It marks the first time in program history the team ranks with in the top-10 in back-to-back-to-back seasons.
Additionally, Massachusetts tied its highest ranking of No. 6 with the 2023-24 final ITA New England Regionals Team Ranking.
The Minutewomen, led by head coach Juancarlos Nunez, concluded the season 16-5 overall, including 7-1 in their first year in the Mid-American Conference. UMass was named the MAC Regular Season Champions, earning the No. 1 seed heading into the MAC Championships, clinching the top-seed for only the second time in program history. Massachusetts reached the conference semifinals for the 14th time in program history.
