Massachusetts Tennis Ranked No. 58 In ITA Rankings

It marks the first time in program history the Minutewomen have been ranked nationally.
AMHERST, Mass. – For the first time in program history, the University of Massachusetts tennis team has been ranked No. 58 nationally in the latest ITA Rankings, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Thursday afternoon.
Massachusetts holds a 6-1 overall record and is currently on a four-match win streak. The Minutewomen defeated Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Syracuse, currently ranked No. 70 in the nation, 4-3 earlier this season on February 7. UMass' only loss came to ACC foe Boston College, 4-3, who has recently been ranked No. 44 in the latest national rankings.
Massachusetts takes a weeklong break, before returning to the court on Friday, February 27, for a 3 p.m. match against Stony Brook at the Bay Road Indoor Tennis Center.
