Massachusetts Tennis Selected Third In MAC Preseason Poll

The Minutewomen tabbed one vote as the predicted MAC Tournament Champion.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – University of Massachusetts tennis was picked to finish third in the Mid-American Conference Coaches Preseason Poll with 47 points, including one first-place vote.
The Minutewomen follow behind Toledo (58 points; five first-place votes) and Buffalo (53 points; two first-place votes). UMass was selected ahead of Northern Illinois (44 points; one first-place vote); Ball State (40 points), Miami (OH) (35 points), Western Michigan (21 points), Eastern Michigan (18 points) and Bowling Green (eight points).
Additionally, Massachusetts earned one vote as the predicted MAC Tournament Champion, while Toledo led with five votes and Buffalo followed with three.
Massachusetts finished the 2024-25 year with a 12-7 overall record, including a 4-0 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The team completed its home schedule with a 7-2 record. UMass reached the A-10 Semifinals for the ninth time in program history and fourth time with Juancarlos Nunez at the helm.
