Minutewomen Unveil Fall 2025 Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts field hockey program will play an 18-game slate, head coach Barb Weinberg announced Thursday. UMass will host 10 games at the Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex including five against Mid-American Conference opponents.
The Minutewomen open their season on a two-game regional road swing, as they take on Vermont (Aug. 29) before traveling challenging UMass Lowell (Aug. 31) for the Kennedy Cup.
Massachusetts begins its home schedule on Friday, September 5 against Brown before hosting Boston University on Sunday, September 7.
The Minutewomen then hit the road for an in-state matchup with Boston College on Friday, September 12. Massachusetts remains on the road facing Dartmouth on Sunday, Sept. 14 in Hanover.
Mid-American competition begins Friday, September 19, as UMass hosts Kent State for a 4 p.m. matchup. The matchup marks the program's first conference game as a member of the MAC.
Massachusetts hosts perennial America East favorite UAlbany on Sunday, Sept. 21. The Minutewomen defeated the Great Danes 3-2 in double overtime to open the 2023 season.
The Maroon and White will travel for conference road trips to Ohio University (Sept. 26), Miami of Ohio (Sept. 28), James Madison (Oct. 17) and Bellarmine (Oct. 24).
Massachusetts welcomes regional rival UConn to Gladchuk Field on Sunday, October 5. The Minutewomen complete a rematch of the 2024 NCAA Regional hosting Havard on Sunday, October 26 for a 1 p.m. push back.
Massachusetts highlights in-conference play with home matchups at the 'Chuk against Central Michigan (Oct. 3), Longwood (Oct. 10), Bellarmine (Oct. 24) and the season finale against Ball State (Oct. 31).
The MAC Championships will be held on Wednesday, November 5, through Saturday, November 8 at James Madison University.
