Shunney Named MAC Women's Cross Country Runner Of The Week

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts senior runner Rylee Shunney has been named the Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. 

Shunney continued her strong season for the Minutewomen at the ECAC Championships, crossing the finish line in a personal-best time of 20:25.2, securing third place overall in a field of 286 participants. Shunney has been the top finisher for the Minutewomen in three consecutive races, in a season where UMass has finished fourth or better in all four races this season.
