Minutemen Announce 2024 Slate

AMHERST, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts men's soccer team announced its 2024 schedule on Friday morning, head coach Fran O'Leary announced. The Minutemen will play a 17-game regular season schedule with their home opener coming on Monday, September 2 against Providence.

Massachusetts begins the season with two road matchups starting against Siena at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22 in Loudonville, NY. The Minutemen then travel to Bryant on Monday, Aug. 26 for a 6 p.m. game in Smithfield, RI.

UMass plays four games in its non-conference schedule at Rudd Field, including the home opener versus Providence at 4 p.m. The Minutemen also host UMass Lowell (Sept. 11), Brown (Sept. 14), and Holy Cross (Oct. 15) as part of the non-conference home slate.

The Minutemen complete their non-conference schedule, traveling for three road games against Yale (Sept. 7), Dartmouth (Sept. 17) and Vermont (Oct. 1).

The Minutemen open Atlantic 10 play at Rudd Field, hosting George Mason on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 12 p.m. Massachusetts also welcomes Saint Joseph's (Oct. 5), Dayton (Oct. 9) and Duquesne (Oct. 26) as part of its eight-game conference schedule.

Massachusetts finishes the A-10 slate with road challenges against Fordham (Sept. 28), Davidson (Oct. 12), Rhode Island (Oct. 19) and St. Bonaventure (Nov. 2). The 2024 regular season wraps up in Olean, NY with the A-10 Quarterfinal set to begin on Friday, Nov. 8.
