AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team heads to the Bronx for a Saturday afternoon tip at Fordham. The Minutewomen and Rams begin action at Rose Hill Gym at 2 p.m. on ESPN+ and SNY.
Last Time Out
UMass fell to Duquesne on Wednesday night in the Mullins Center, 79-62. Alexsia Rose led the Minutewomen with a career-high 23 points while Stefanie Kulesza chipped in 10 points, including eight in the first quarter, to go along with six rebounds. The Minutewomen and Dukes were all square at 21-21 after the first quarter before Duquesne outscored UMass 18-7 in the second.
Series History
Saturday's game in the Bronx marks the 50th all-time meeting between UMass and Fordham dating back to the first matchup during the 1979-80 season. UMass holds a 27-22 all-time series lead while the Rams hold a 13-9 record on their home floor. The Minutewomen won last season's game in the Bronx by a score of 66-57 and took the next matchup in Amherst by one point, 80-79.
Another Career High
Alexsia Rose has matched or passed her career-high in scoring each of the last three games. The guard set a new career-best mark with 23 points against Duquesne on Wednesday afternoon reached a then career-high 22 points at Saint Joseph's on Saturday. Rose began the three-game stretch by tying her career-high with 18 against La Salle and is averaging 21.0 points per game during the span.
Crashing The Boards
Stefanie Kulesza leads the Minutewomen in rebounds per game at 7.3 to rank seventh in the Atlantic 10 and inside the top-175 nationally. Kulesza has hauled in 176 rebounds on the year to rank sixth-most among A-10 leaders and 87th in Division I. The junior set a career mark with 14 rebounds against both Saint Peter's and UMass Lowell and has surpassed 10 rebounds in five games this season.

Kristin Williams averages a team-leading 11.8 points per game on the season and 12.5 points per conference contest. The guard ranks among the top-10 in the Atlantic 10 with just under two made per game and is sixth among league leaders in total 3-pointers with 47. Williams has knocked down three or more triples in nine contests and has made at least one 3-pointer in 23-of-24 games this season.
On Fire
The Minutewomen shot a season-high 51.8-percent from the field at Saint Joseph's on Saturday. UMass shot a blistering 90-percent in the second quarter, going 9-of-10 from the field and 2-of-2 from deep to outscore the Hawks 20-16 in the frame. The Minutewomen also finished at 50-percent from behind the arc with Bre Bellamy, Alexsia Rose, and Kristin Williams each knocking down a pair of triples.
Looking Ahead
UMass is set to play three of its final five games at home in the Mullins Center beginning with Rhode Island on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. The Minutewomen remain home to take on VCU the following Saturday before heading to Loyola Chicago and George Washington for the final two road games of the season. UMass wraps up regular season play on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at home against St. Bonaventure for Senior Night.

UMass' game against Rhode Island on Wednesday, Feb. 14 is the annual Play4Kay game. The Minutewomen will wear special white and pink uniforms and are raising money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
