AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team takes on George Washington in its final road game of the regular season on Saturday. The Minutewomen and Revolutionaries tip off at noon from the Charles E. Smith Center on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Minutewomen fell on the road to Loyola Chicago on Wednesday, 64-52. Stefanie Kulesza led UMass with 14 points while Kristin Williams and Lilly Taulelei joined her in double figures with 11 and 10, respectively. Taulelei tied her career-high in assists with four, all in the first half, while Tori Hyduke tied her season-high in rebounds with five to go along with nine points.

Series History
Saturday's game is the 57th all-time meeting between UMass and George Washington dating back to the first matchup during the 1980-81 season. GW leads the all-time series with a 44-12 record while the Minutewomen have won two straight in the series after an 85-61 win on Senior Day last year in Amherst.

Crashing The Boards
Stefanie Kulesza leads the Minutewomen in rebounds per game at 6.9 and ranks eighth among Atlantic 10 leaders in the category. The junior's 193 total rebounds is sixth-most among A-10 players and 130th-most nationally. Kulesza set a career mark with 14 rebounds against both Saint Peter's and UMass Lowell and has surpassed 10 rebounds in five games this season.

From Deep
Kristin Williams leads UMass in 3-pointers made on the season with 54 and ranks ninth among Atlantic 10 leaders in the category. Williams' averages 1.93 made 3-pointers per game and has made three or more triples in 10 games this season. The guard reached a season-high in made 3-pointers with four against Maryland on Nov. 25 and against George Mason on Jan. 21.

New Career High
Freshman forward Chinenye Odenigbo matched her career-high with 10 points on 4-of-6 from the field against VCU on Saturday after setting the career mark in the previous game against Rhode Island. Odenigbo reached double digits in re- bounds for the first time in her career at La Salle as she finished with a game- high 10 rebounds in 12 minutes. The freshman missed time earlier this season due to injury and made her return on Dec. 1 at Yale and has started the last two games for the Minutewomen.

Gimme That
Stefanie Kulesza tied her career-high with eight steals at Fordham, ranking fifth-most in a single game in program history. Kulesza first reached the eight steal mark against Loyola Chicago on Jan. 17 and has a team-leading 52 steals on the season. The junior came up with three steals in 45 seconds against VCU and her 1.9 steals per game ranks fifth among A-10 leaders. Kulesza ranks fourth among A-10 players in total steals while ranking 90th among DI leaders in the category.

Dishing The Rock
Alexsia Rose finished with eight assists and zero turn- overs against Rhode Island on Wednesday to mark the second-most assists in single game for the guard this season. Rose set a new career-best mark in assists in a game with nine against Saint Louis on Jan. 6.

Looking Ahead
UMass home to the Mullins Center on Wednesday, Feb. 28 for a matchup against St. Bonaventure in the final game of the regular season. Atlantic 10 Tournament play begins for the Minutewomen on Wednesday, March 6 in Henrico, Va.

Atlantic 10 Tournament
The 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship will be held March 6-10 in Henrico, Va. at the new, 3,500-seat Henrico Sports & Events Center. The tournament begins with first round action on Wednesday, March 6 with three games followed by four games on Thursday and Friday.
