Minutemen Sit at No. 20 in Final National Poll of the Regular Season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After sitting just outside the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 on numerous occasions this season, the Massachusetts men's soccer program earned its first national ranking by the poll this year on Tuesday evening. UMass slotted into the No. 20 spot in the last week of rankings before postseason play.

Last week, UMass sat two point outside of the Top-25, receiving 6 points in the Oct. 29 poll. After a dominating 5-1 victory on the road over St. Bonaventure to cement a four-game win streak and the program's first 10+ win season since 2017, the Minutemen garnered national recognition. Massachusetts also currently ranks No. 19 in the latest NCAA Men's Soccer RPI, slating as high as No. 9 earlier in the year.

The Maroon and White look to continue building its case for NCAA Men's Soccer College Cup berth, hosting Saint Louis in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship at Rudd Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., with action streaming live on ESPN+.
