Minutemen Earn No. 3 Seed in Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship Tournament

WASHINGTON, D.C. --Â The University of Massachusetts men's soccer team officially earned the No. 3 seed in the 2024 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship Tournament, the league announced on Saturday night. Â

The Minutemen secured their first 10+ win regular season and right to host an A-10 quarterfinal match since 2017. Massachusetts posted a 5-2-1 record in A-10 play, going 10-3-4 overall. This marks the second double-digit win season and second time hosting a quarterfinal match for Head Coach Fran O'Leary.Â

Massachusetts will host the No. 6-seeded Saint Louis Billikens on Saturday, November 9 at 1Â p.m. at Rudd Field in the quarterfinals. The winner of this match will move onto the Atlantic 10 Semifinal Round, which will be held on Wednesday, November 13. Pairings will be re-seeded following the Quarterfinal Round and matchup times for later rounds are to be announced.
The Atlantic 10 tournament is an eight-team, single-elimination bracket, with the top-seeded team hosting each round of the tournament. The winner of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship will earn the Atlantic 10's automatic bid and advance to the NCAA Tournament. All seven games of the A-10 Men's Soccer Championship will be broadcast on ESPN+.
