Women’s Cross Country Wraps Up 2024 Campaign At NCAA Regionals

HOPKINTON, N.H. – University of Massachusetts women's cross country closed out its 2024 campaign on Friday, finishing 16th out of 42 teams at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships at Hopkinton Fairground with a score of 398.
THE UMASS TOP-FIVE
- Sydney Adams was the top finisher for the Minutewomen in 44th overall, clocking in at 20:58.94 in the 6K.
- Eugenia Fairhurst followed in 58th out of 268 competitors with a time of 21:14.18.
- Lara Mannes Diaz de Cerio placed third for UMass and 85th overall in 21:35.43.
- The Minutewomen's No. 4 scorer, Klara Hansen, was 97th (21:43.54).
- Annika Zuschlag wrapped up the UMass top-5 in 117th overall, completing the course in 22:00.01.
