BETHLEHEM, Pa. – University of Massachusetts women's cross country was in action at the Paul Short Run on Saturday on the campus of Lehigh University. Competing in the Women's Gold 6K, the Minutewomen placed 26th in a 42-team field with a score of 684.
THE UMASS TOP-FIVE
- Senior Sydney Adams led UMass in 53rd overall with a time of 21:02.2
- Senior Eugenia Fairhurst came across as the Minutewomen's No. 2 runner, taking 112th in the field of 371 finishers.
- Sophomore Lara Mannes Diaz de Cerio was 182nd (22:00.0)
- Junior Annika Zuschlag (22:02.7) and sophomore Riley Shunney (22:03.0) crossed together in 190th and 191st, respectively as UMass fourth and fifth scorers.
ALSO IN ACTION
- Two Minutewomen ran in the Open Women's 6K as sophomore Rylee Davis was 24th (22:09.2) and Kaylie Dalgar placed 26th (22:10.8) in the field of 488 finishers.

- The Minutewomen will travel to the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, New Hampshire for the New England Championships on Saturday, October 12.
