Women's Cross Country Sees Action At CCSU Mini Meet

NEW BRITAIN CONN. – In their final action ahead of the Atlantic 10 Championships next week, University of Massachusetts women's cross country placed eighth out of 11 teams at the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday with a score of 148, racing a lineup of primarily freshmen and sophomores.
THE UMASS TOP-FIVE
- Freshman Salma Boukhtam led the Minutewomen in 14th out of 83 runners with a time of 10:12.06.
- Classmate Maia Zatorska followed in 21st with a time of 10:19.48 in the 3K.
- Sophomore Ella Bosselman was third for UMass in 36th overall (10:33.28).
- Sophomore Simone Harrison took the No. 4 spot for the Minutewomen in 42nd overall (10:38.97).
- Junior Amelia Amack completed the scoring in 43rd with a time of 10:40.48.
UP NEXT
- The Minutewomen will travel to Mechanicsville, Virginia for the Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday, November 2. Race time is set for 10 a.m.
