The final competition ahead of the Atlantic 10 Championships awaits University of Massachusetts women's cross country this Friday as the squad heads to New Britain, Connecticut and Stanley Quarter Park for the second time this season. Back on September 21, the Minutewomen won CCSU's Ted Owen Invitational in a field of 10 teams. Most recently, UMass claimed third as a squad at the ECAC Championships in the Bronx, New York last Friday. Eugenia Fairhurst led the Minutewomen in third overall out of 258 competitors with a time of 21:10.0 in the 6K race.
