AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team hosts George Mason for a nationally televised matchup on Sunday in the Mullins Center. The Minutewomen and the Patriots tip off at 4 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

Last Time Out
UMass fell to Loyola Chicago on Wednesday in the Mullins Center, 79-66. Stefanie Kulesza led the Minutewomen with 17 points, six rebounds, and eight steals to lead four players in double figures in scoring. Kristin Williams added 15 points while Alexsia Rose and Lilly Taulelei each added 10.

National Girls And Women In Sports Day
Sunday's game against George Mason marks the annual NGWSD game for the Minutewomen. In celebration of NGWSD, there will be a pre-game multi-sport clinic held in the Boyden Gymnasium. The clinic will start at 2 p.m. and lasts one hour. All participants who register will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of UMassFive College Credit Union.

Series History
Sunday's game marks the 15th all-time matchup between the Minutewomen and the Patriots dating back to the 2011-12 season. George Mason leads the all-time series with a 9-5 record while UMass is 2-2 at home against the Patriots. The Minutewomen won both meetings a season ago, including a 63-50 win to open the A-10 Tournament.

Gimme That
Stefanie Kulesza recorded a career-high eight steals against Loyola Chicago on Wednesday to mark the third most steals in a single game by a Minutewoman. Jennifer Butler holds the program record with 10 steals against Charlotte on Nov. 17, 2000 while three Minutewomen have recorded 9 steals during a game.

National TV Game
UMass hosts George Mason in a nationally televised game on Sunday, Jan. 21 in the Mullins Center at 4 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. The game marks the first of two nationally televised games for the Minutewomen with the second coming on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at Loyola Chicago on NBC Sports Network.

Crashing The Boards
Stefanie Kulesza ranks third among A-10 leaders in total rebounds on the season with 147 and ranks 58th nationally in the category. The junior averages a team-leading 8.2 rebounds per game to rank just outside the top-100 nationally in the category. Kulesza set a career mark with 14 rebounds against both Saint Peter's and UMass Lowell and has surpassed 10 rebounds in five games this season.

Heating Up
Kristin Williams tied her career-high in scoring with 19 points at Richmond, including seven straight to open the second half. The guard has eclipsed double figures in six of her last eight games and is averaging 14.4 points per game during the span. On the season, Williams has reached 10 or more points in 10 games and is averaging a team-best 13.7 points per game in A-10 play.

Chinenye's Day
Freshman forward Chinenye Odenigbo reached double digits in rebounds for the first time in her career last Saturday as she finished with a game-high 10 rebounds in 12 minutes at La Salle. The freshman missed time earlier this season due to injury and made her return on Dec. 1 at Yale and has appeared in nine games since coming back to the lineup.

Looking Ahead
UMass plays its next two games on the road beginning with a Wednesday night tip at Davidson at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The Minutewomen conclude the two-game road trip on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. at Rhode Island before returning home for a midweek matchup against La Salle.
