Minutewomen Claim 9 of the Top-10 Spots to Win Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invitational

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts women's cross country took nine of the top-10 spots, finishing in first with a score of 18 while Springfield College came in second with 59 points and AIC finished third with a score of 65 at the Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invitational on Saturday at the UMass cross country course. Annika Zuschlag posted her first collegiate individual win, completing the 4K course in 14 minutes, 25.8 seconds.
THE UMASS TOP-FIVE
- Behind Zuschlag, Rebecca Hartman finished second (14:26.9) in her first race as a Minutewoman.
- Eugenia Fairhurst was third for the Minutewomen and fourth overall (14:40.2).
- Rylee Davis was fourth for the Minutewomen and fifth overall (15:02.1) in her first collegiate race.
- Hannah Rose Beckman scored for the Minutewomen for the second time in her career as she finished sixth overall (15:11.5).

- The Minutewomen will be back in action, September 9, when the team travels to Bryant University for the Nassaney Invitational.
