ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team wrapped up action at the Black & Gold Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Highlights from Competition:
The Minutemen will take a week off before sending a handful to the Texas Relays on March 29 through April 1 and the Colonial Relays at William & Mary March 31 and April 1, while the remainder of the entire squad will head to Bryant for the Bryant University Invite on March 31 and April 1.
Highlights from Competition:
- William Dion captured 15th place in the hammer with a 164' 4" toss.
- The 4x100-meter relay team of Felipe Gonzalez, Michael Harden, Michael Rodia, and Godot Gaskins ran a 42.73 for eighth place.
- Gaskins took ninth place in the 400-meter dash in 47.95 seconds.
- Rodia was the top finisher for UMass in the 100-meter dash, running the event in 10.93 seconds.
