Minutemen Sign Trio As Part Of A-10 Best Recruiting Class

AMHERST, Mass. -- The Minutemen continue to be a force in the Atlantic 10 recruiting trail as head coach Frank Martin officially announced the signing of three recruits on Wednesday. The trio of Nate Guerengomba, Lewis Walker, and Luka Damjanac ranks as the no. 1 class in the A-10 for 2024 according to 247sports.
"Excited about the three young men we are signing," said head coach Frank Martin. "Our coaching staff has once again done an incredible job finding great fits for our program."
Nate Guerengomba signs with the Minutemen as a three-star recruit from Washington, D.C. Guerengomba ranks as a top-40 small forward nationally and the no. 2 player from the D.C. metro area. Currently playing for South Kent School (South Kent, CT) Guerengomba chose Massachusetts over offers from Iowa, Maryland and Rhode Island among others.

A three-star recruit, Lewis Walker signs with the Minutemen out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Walker ranks as a top-60 power forward nationally and the no. 11 player in the state of North Carolina. Playing his high school basketball at Winston-Salem Christian School, Walker signed with UMass over offers from George Mason, San Jose State and Georgia State.

Currently playing at Wilbraham and Monson Academy, Luka Damjanac signs with Massachusetts as a 6'10" post-player with experience playing in Europe. A native of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Damjanac attended Vienna International School in Austria before playing his post-graduate year in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. A member of the Bosnia & Herzegovina U18 National Team he competed at the FIBA U18 European Championships in Portugal and won a gold medal at the U16 Austrian Championships.
