Massachusetts Women's Cross Country Closes Out 2023 At NCAA Regional Championships

BRONX, N.Y. – University of Massachusetts women's cross country closed out the 2023 campaign on Friday morning, placing 22nd out of 37 teams at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships at Van Cortlandt Park. Syracuse won the meet with a score of 98, followed by Boston College (109) and Providence (137).

- Eugenia Fairhurst was the top finisher for the Minutewomen in 87th overall with a time of 21:24.7
- Rebecca Hartman claimed the No. 2 spot for UMass, running the 6K course in 21:40.1
- Annika Zuschlag came in 142nd in the field of 265 as the Minutewomen's No. 3 scorer, clocking in at 22:17.4
- Lara Mannes Diaz de Cerio followed closely behind Zuchlag in 145th (22:18.8)
- Rylee Shunney completed the scoring for UMass in 170th with a time of 22:42.7
