Men’s Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

The Minutemen compiled a team GPA of 3.52 during the 2021-22 semester to earn the academic honor.
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts men's soccer team earned a United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award as announced by the coaches' organization on Thursday afternoon. The Minutemen finished the 2021-22 academic year with a 3.52 team GPA.
This year marks the seventh time that the Minutemen have earned the team academic award under head coach Fran O'Leary. The team posted a 3.56 GPA during the spring semester and finished the fall semester with a GPA of 3.49.
In order to be eligible for the academic award, teams must post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.
