Massachusetts Track & Field Sees Action On Day One Of Raleigh Relays

Seven Minutemen and two Minutewomen competed on day one.
RALEIGH, N.C. – University of Massachusetts track and field had nine athletes in action at day one of the Raleigh Relays on Thursday. Seven Minutemen and two Minutewomen competed on day one of the unscored meet.
Joseph Manchester was the top finisher for UMass, taking ninth in men's javelin with a toss of 200 feet, 7 inches, while Peter Kitsakos was 31st (164'8").
In women's shot put, Danielle Notarfrancesco threw 146 feet, 7.5 inches for 18th and Anna Cozzolino placed 23rd in javelin with mark of 125 feet, 7 inches.
Coston O'Brien placed 33rd in men's shot put with a mark of 49 feet, 9.25 inches.
In the men's 1,500m, Shane Grant was 142nd (3:53.46) and Will Kenney 178th (3:56.15), while Loden Rodrigues and Michael Norberg took 157th (14:45.20) and 161st (14:46.18) in 5,000m, respectively.
