Ianni Tabbed Atlantic 10 Offensive Player Of The Week

The accolade marks the first of the senior forward's career after a two-goal weekend.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Senior forward Bella Ianni has been named the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. The award marks her first of her collegiate career.
Ianni notched the game-winning goal at 6:02 in the first quarter of the 4-0 shutout against Lock Haven on Friday afternoon. She also netted the first goal for the Minutewomen in the 3-2 loss against Northeastern on Sunday afternoon, marking her fifth and sixth goals of the season.
The Minutewomen return to action as the No. 2 seed in the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament and will take on the No. 3-seeded Lock Haven Bald Eagles on Thursday, November 3 at 2 p.m. following the No. 1 Saint Joseph's Hawks and No. 4 VCU Rams' 11 a.m. match. The winners of each match will face off on Saturday, November 5 at 12 p.m. for the conference championship. All tournament play will take place at the Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex and will be streamed on ESPN+.
