DEDHAM, Mass. - The No. 20 University of Massachusetts field hockey team was bested by the Northeastern Huskies on Sunday afternoon by a score of 3-2. The Minutewomen finish the regular season with a 13-5 record, while the Huskies finish at 5-13.

The Minutewomen responded when senior Bella Ianni notched a goal at 6:23 in the second quarter, hoisting the ball over goalkeeper Jonna Kennedy (8 saves).

After a shot-heavy third quarter for Massachusetts, sophomore Dempsey Campbell answered the call for the Minutewomen with 0:45 remaining in the quarter, equalizing the score at 2. The goal came off a rebound from Kennedy at 14:15. However, Emmy Stubbs ultimately put the Huskies back on top, scoring the game-winner at 2:57 into the fourth quarter of play. Her eleventh of the season was assisted by Kate Blaisdell.
