AMHERST, Mass. - The No. 20 University of Massachusetts field hockey team will take on the Richmond Spiders on Friday, October 21 at 1 p.m. in conference play. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Minutewomen went 1-1 this weekend, besting the VCU Rams by a score of 2-1 before losing to the No. 23 UAlbany Great Danes 2-1 in 2OT. Senior forward Bella Ianni scored her third goal in four games in Friday's match to help lift the Minutewomen over the Rams.

Scouting the Spiders
Richmond is currently 6-9 on the season and 2-3 in conference play. Lindsey Frank and Regan McCrossen lead the Spiders in goals on the season with seven each, while Lainey Nichols has five, two of which were scored in last week's win against Bucknell. Frank also leads the team in assists with five on the season so far, while Tess Keppel trails her with three. Goalkeeper Erika Latta has started in 13 games, recording 55 saves on 156 shots faced. Kristen Rake has also seen action in the cage, starting in two games, recording 15 saves on 37 shots faced.

The Minutewomen return home to play in their home regular season finale against the Lock Haven Bald Eagles on Friday, October 28 at 3 p.m. at the Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex before hitting the road once more to take on the Northeastern Huskies at 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 30.
