A Liberty interception on the first play of the game, allowed the Flames to score a 26-yard touchdown on their first drive to open the scoring. Liberty added another score at the 13:40 mark in the first quarter, a six-yard pass from Willis to Demario Douglas, before a 60-yard pass complete to DJ Stubbs from Willis brought the total up to 20-3.

The Flames put up 21 in the second quarter, seven in the third quarter and 14 more in the fourth.

The Minutemen will return to McGuirk Alumni Stadium for a two-game homestand on Saturday, November 6, against Rhode Island. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
