UMass Tennis Signs Thamonpan Jonglertrakul

AMHERST, Mass. – UMass tennis head coach Juancarlos Nunez announced Friday that Thamonpan Jonglertrakul has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Minutewomen beginning in 2021.
 
"We are very excited to welcome Thamonpan into our program," said Nunez. "From the moment we started building a relationship with her, it was clear how passionate and committed she is to be the best she can be and to help our team continue to grow. She brings a wealth of experience at the international level as she has proven herself to be a great competitor in both singles and doubles throughout her junior career. We can't wait to see her here in Amherst next year."
 
Jonglertrakul, a native of Bangkok, Thailand, is a member of the Thailand National Jr. Fed Cup Team and was ranked as high as 370 in the ITF World Junior Rankings. As a singles player, she was a J5 Nonthaburi ITF and J5 Causeway Bay ITF tournament champion in 2019, and was also a finalist at the J4 Jeju ITF tournament in 2019 and J5 Nothbauri ITF tournament in 2020. 
 
While playing doubles, Jonglertrakul captured the J5 Nonthaburi ITF tournament (August 2019), J5 Nonthaburi ITF tournament(June 2019) and J5 Causeway Bay ITF tournament championships while reaching the finals of the J5 Nothbauri ITF tournament in 2020.
