Atlantic 10 Announces Dates And Televised Games For 2019-20 Season

Men’s Basketball will be featured nationally on NBCSN and CBSSN in seven of 18 league contests.

AMHERST, Mass. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the dates and television assignments for the 2019-20 UMass men's basketball season on Wednesday afternoon. The Minutemen will host nine league contests at home in the Mullins Center and will be featured nationally on NBC Sports Network or CBS Sports Network in seven of their 18 league matchups.
 
The home opener for the Minutemen is set for Wednesday, Jan. 8 against La Salle while George Washington, Duquesne, George Mason, Dayton and Rhode Island all visit the Mullins Center in weekend games. The rivalry game against Rhode Island will round out the regular-season conference slate on Saturday, March 7 at a time to be determined. The Minutemen also host VCU in a midweek matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
 
The Minutemen open up Atlantic 10 play on Sunday, Jan. 5 on the road at Saint Louis on NBCSN in one of five UMass games to be featured on the network throughout league play. Three games in the Mullins Center will be featured on NBCSN, beginning with George Washington on Saturday, Jan. 18 while weekend tilts against George Mason and Dayton on Feb. 9 and Feb. 15 round out the network schedule. The Minutemen will also be featured on NBCSN at Dayton on Feb. 11.
 
UMass plays back-to-back road contests on CBSSN at Davidson and Rhode Island on Feb. 1 and Feb. 4, respectively.
 
All UMass contests that are not part of the league television package will be available digitally through the Atlantic 10's partnership with ESPN+. Subscriptions to the streaming service can be purchased for $4.99 monthly or $49.99 annually.
 
For the year, UMass plays host for 17 games at the Mullins Center beginning with an exhibition on Oct. 29 before the Minutemen take on UMass Lowell on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in the regular-season opener. The Minutemen host Central Connecticut State and Rider on Nov. 16 and 20 as part of the Hall of Fame Tournament and welcome in SEC opponent South Carolina on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. on CBSSN.
 
New season tickets remain on sale and can be purchased online here or by calling the Mullins Center Box Office at 866-UMASS-TIX. Single game tickets will go on sale on Sept. 24 for season ticket holders and on Oct. 1 for the general public.
