TEAM UNVEILS 2019 MAROON AND WHITE UNIFORM COMBINATIONS

• University of Massachusetts football and head coach Walt Bell unveiled the team's 2019 uniforms on its official social media channels (@UMassFootball) on Mon., Aug. 26. The first opportunity to see the home uniforms at McGuirk Alumni Stadium will be Sat., Sept. 7 against Southern Illinois at 3:30 p.m.
• The jerseys feature "Massachusetts" across the chest and are embroidered with the 150 Years of College Football celebratory patch as well as the Adidas logo. Contrasting block numbering is present on both sides, with each individual's last name stitched on the back. Additional contrasting detailing is present on the outside of the pant legs as well as the outside of the shoulders.
• Photos and videos of the jerseys are available on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook (@UMassFootball).

30-30 VISION

Redshirt junior Bilal Ally and junior Cam Roberson each recorded touchdown runs of more than 30 yards in the game at Rutgers (8/30). Roberson took his third carry of the game through the middle of the Scarlet Knights' defense with 9:33 to go in the first and raced 39 yards for the score. Ally found paydirt from 33 yards out with two seconds remaining in the opening quarter for his touchdown.

It is the first game of the program's FBS era where UMass scored on multiple runs of 30 or more yards.

AND THEY WERE ROOMATES

Redshirt senior housemates Kyle Horn and Randall West connected on a 20-yard touchdown play during the first quarter at Rutgers. It marked the first touchdown pass of West's career and Horn's first collegiate touchdown catch.

MR. RODGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD

Isaiah Rodgers had four total passes defended in the game at Rutgers including two interceptions and a pair of pass breakups. His four passes defended mark a single-game career high for the senior. Rodgers posted one breakup each in the second and third quarters while he hauled in his pickoffs during the third and fourth quarters. For his career, Rodgers owns 27 pass breakup (fifth-most all-time) and 36 passes defended (eighth-most).

EXTRA POINT EXTRAORDINAIRE

Redshirt senior kicker Cooper Garcia is 40-for-40 all-time on PAT extra point kick attempts, including 37-of-37 in 2018 and 3-for-3 in 2019. He is one of only two kickers in UMass history with a perfect 1.000 PAT kick rating (Marco Gabrielli; 46-46, 1989-90) and at least 30 career extra point attempts.
